Privacy notice

This site is run by Iman Aboheydary, the person responsible for processing your data under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). For any privacy question, use the contact form and choose “Something else”.

The short version

  • No cookies, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking pixels.
  • No third-party scripts or fonts. Everything on this site is served from my own server in Germany.
  • The contact form stores what you send me, only to answer you, and nothing else.

Visiting the site

The site is hosted on a server of Hetzner Online GmbH in Germany. When you open a page, the web server records a short technical log entry: your IP address, the date and time, the page requested, the HTTP status and your browser’s user agent. This is needed to deliver the site and to keep it secure, for example to detect attacks (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, legitimate interest). The logs are kept for up to 14 days and then deleted automatically.

The contact form

When you send a message, I receive your name, email address, the topic, the optional company name and your message. I use them only to answer you and to follow up on what you asked about (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, your consent).

  • Your message is stored on the same server in Germany. If email forwarding is switched on, it is also delivered to my mailbox through my email provider.
  • Your IP address is used for a short time in memory to stop spam floods. It is never written to disk with your message.
  • Messages are deleted when the conversation is finished, at the latest 12 months after they arrive.

You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future. Just tell me through the form.

Pages link to GitHub, Packagist, LinkedIn and the OpenLabel documentation. Nothing is loaded from those sites until you click a link. After that, their own privacy notices apply.

Your rights

You have the right to access the data I hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive it in a portable format (Art. 15 to 21 GDPR). You can also complain to a data protection supervisory authority, for example the one where you live.

Changes

If this notice changes, the date at the bottom of this page changes with it.
