Hi, I'm Iman Aboheydary.

Full-stack developer for Magento 2, Adobe Commerce and Hyvä

Full-stack developer with more than nine years of professional experience and fifteen years of writing code, focused on Magento 2, Adobe Commerce and Hyvä. I build custom extensions from scratch, debug and speed up client stores, and work across the stack, from PHP on the back end to modern JavaScript on the front end.

The mission

Why I build free modules

Magento shops pay every year for extensions that solve common problems. Many of those modules are slow, hard to adapt to Hyvä, or locked behind a license check.

I want to rebuild the ones people pay for, make them better, and give them away under the MIT license. No paid tier, no license keys, no phone-home. Just good code that a shop can read, change and trust.

Every module follows the same rules as my client work. Clean architecture, tests, measured performance and honest documentation.

The first result is OpenLabel, a product label module for Magento 2 and Hyvä.

    • Develop Magento 2 extensions from scratch, from requirements through release and maintenance.
    • Build and adapt storefront features and modules for Hyvä themes with Alpine.js and Tailwind CSS.
    • Debug client stores and build custom modules from client requirements.
    • Analyse and improve store performance with the Xdebug profiler.
    • Keep quality high with PHPUnit and Cypress tests in Docker-based environments.

    • Implemented new features in PHP within a microservice architecture.
    • Built Vue.js templates for specialised product pages.

    Premium WordPress themes and plugins with more than 170,000 customers (remote)

    • Built SellKit, a WordPress e-commerce plugin, from scratch, applying SOLID principles and design patterns.
    • Created the SellKit control panel in React with hooks, context, React Hook Form and React Router.
    • Delivered key SellKit features including Personalized Coupons and Smart Alerts.
    • Built a template import that uses background processing to handle large imports reliably.
    • Found and fixed PHP bottlenecks with Xdebug profiling; set up Webpack and SCSS build pipelines.
